Big day today. We sent ten puppies to Calgary. What a thrash, no matter how much we plan it always seems to be a thrash at the last minute. There is just so much to do to make it happen. First Pawsitive Match in Calgary needs to see the dogs we have and find foster homes for the lucky ones that get to go. Next there is a flurry of paper work and customs brokers and Airway bills. After that it is finding crates and weights and measures. On the day of we load the cuties into their crates and a transport them to the ferry.
After that they take the ferry across to Cancun where our wonderful friends Edie and Angie of Rescate Malix pick them up in their truck.

Then it’s off to the airport cargo area, where they are checked in until they board. After a long flight they arrive in Calgary where they are picked up and put in generous foster homes until they are adopted.
Wow, what a journey but worth it.

They are met with love and hope and winter jackets, who could ask for more.
