Spay Day on Isla

Yesterday was a great day. We sent eight pups and dogs out to Pawsitive Rescue in Calgary. They breezed through the flight and are now in coats and booties on their way to foster homes. You can check the adoption page of this web site to see who the lucky travelers were.

Jennifer, Ashley and Marcelino are taking the ferry to the mainland with eight crates.

Today we’re doing a one day “Spay Day” on Isla Mujeres. Mainly cats and of course just a few dogs. We have tourist volunteers who wanted to help out while on vacation and we’re always happy to keep more puppies and kittens from being born.

Spay Day should be a national holiday! Love the pic of Uno above!
