Scout, the Lone Pup
We sent out twelve puppies a few weeks ago and we already have twelve more. Unbelievable. The hardest thing is to get just one pup from a litter. Little Scout was brought to us by a teenager who found her at the side of the road. Usually when we get one puppy, the rest of the litter starts to show up but this time we just got Scout which means that she has to spend a few weeks on her own.
Because of the possibility of parvo and distemper we don’t mix litters until we can vaccinate them. So here is little Scout getting special treatment to keep her socialized and happy. This is Irene who comes over a few days a week to help with the puppies. She may be one of the few people on the planet who loves dogs more than I do.
