Puppies on Their Way
It’s incredible how much it takes to get puppies and dogs ready to send to rescues in the US and Canada. This morning we sent out nine pups. First we gave them a bath, but inside because it was chilly.
Then we have to put together a mountain of paperwork and find lots of crates. Next we have to get them to the ferry. A tricycle is the best transport.
This morning we had some added excitement. There were men all around the house with ropes and I assumed that they were the dog catchers so I went out to get rid of them, they’re not my favorite people. I discovered that they were actually looking for a rather large bull, 500 kilos, that has escaped from the rodeo. They’d followed his hoof prints to our house. He must have heard that we were a rescue.
